* LETTER OF TRANSMISSION WITH LESSON 23 *
Dear Fellow-Student :
There is a lot of pathos in me when I see the condition of the world today. For it's a pathetic picture.
Here we have all the Power of God necessary to save it at once, and we have 1,400,000,000 men
and women supposed to know that Power, and still-headlong to destruction we plunge, IN SPITE
OF THESE 1,400,000,000 SOULS AND IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT ALL THAT IS NECESSARY
EVEN NOW, AT THIS LATE DATE, IS FOR MEN AND WOMEN TO RECOGNIZE THE EXISTING
POWER AND PRESENCE OF THE SPIRIT WHICH IS GOD. Oh the tragedy of it all. Oh
the pathos of it all. Oh, the shame of it all. Yet, to those who have found God's Power here and now,
there is an ineffa ble sweetness that comes into the life. There is a mighty love for all. There is a glory
this world cannot bring to us. It's God. It's the Spirit of God. It's the Power of God. I'm only hoping
the world get~ this picture before the great Calamity befalls us. Democracy isn't safe any more.
Brutal force of arms is the thing. Mad megalomaniacs are in control. They want to drive the very
name of God off the earth. Sometimes I wonder if some of these organizations being "persecuted"
by the dictators, haven't brought a lot of it on themselves because they have not been true
to their profession. Maybe they have tried to control politics instead of demonstrating the Power
of God. But the end of this war-madness is hard by. It's close at hand. BE FIRM IN GOD, beloved.
I'm doing my best to lead you. You stay by me, and we'll bring to this earth, the greatest reviva1 of
God-Power it has ever known.
Cor dially your friend and fellow-Student,
